Place for doing revision
Student Computer Centre (SCC) has completed refurbishment with improved seating layout for informal learning. Students who need a quiet space for exam revision are welcome to leverage the SCC space during opening hours.
Print hardcopy term assignment
Students who need to submit a hard copy of term assignment can utilize the mobile printing service of SCC. By using the SCC mobile print service, students are able to send files from mobile device or cloud storage to SCC's printers located at 3/F and 4/F. The supporting cloud storage includes Microsoft OneDrive, Adobe Cloud, Google Drive, Google Docs, iCloud Files and Dropbox, etc.
Use licensed software for completing term assignment
Students are welcome to leverage the prevailing software (Adobe CC, SPSS and a list of multimedia applications) installed in SCC for preparation of term assignment. If you are working from home, installed license software on SCC machines are also made available through Virtual Student Computer Centre (vSCC 1 and vSCC 2).
Taking online exam with remote proctoring

Taking online exam on campus
Subject examiners may allow students with difficulties in taking online exam at home to take the online exam on campus. SCC special classrooms will be arranged via Academic Registry to allow students to attend online exam on campus. Computer equipment, internet connection and movable web camera will be made available to enrolled student.
Students who need to take online exam on campus, please inform subject examiners to arrange a designated seat in SCC well in advance of the scheduled online exam. Students are also reminded to bring along personal smartphone (in case to take photo of hardcopy answer script) and student ID card when come to SCC to attend online exam.
