Effective from 4 January 2021, a new VPN service ‘Cloud Express’ has been made available to all Mainland-based students for smooth connection to LEARN@PolyU. As the carrier-based secure VPN service will be retired at the end of January 2021, students based in Mainland cities are encouraged to switch to ‘Cloud Express’ as soon as possible.
For ease of transition to the new VPN service, both ‘Cloud Express’ and the carrier-based secure VPN service has been running in parallel in January. However, latter will be retired on 31 January 2021.
Students who are still using the carrier-based secure VPN currently, please check the guidelines below to download a new VPN client software for the new ‘Cloud Express’ VPN service and uninstall the existing CTVPN client software ‘Endpoint Security VPN’.
