Due to the revised assignment of campus space, the third floor of Student Computer Centre (SCC) at Block M will be closed and returned to the University on 1 February 2022.
If you plan to use SCC classrooms or informal study space for group project discussion, print hardcopy of document from your phone, please move to SCC 4/F at Block M.
The SCC 4/F at Block M will remain open during the Lunar New Year holiday with special opening hours listed below:
- 08:30 - 23:30 (Mon - Fri)
- 09:00 - 23:30 (Sat)
- 09:00 - 23:30 (Sun & Public Holidays)
Students can continue to leverage the prevailing software installed in more than 200 computers at SCC 4/F for their study and use the touchdown space in between classes opposite to the staircase of SCC 4/F.
Workstations with graphics cards are installed in the Teaching & Learning Information Technology (TLIT) lab, which is located at M401, for AR/VR gamification, animation, video editing applications. Students can use software applications (such as Adobe CC, SPSS) in SCC and TLIT lab through Virtual Student Computer Centre (vSCC1/vSCC2).
Departments can reserve classrooms in SCC 4/F via the Room Enquiry and Booking System. Wireless printing ‘SCC Mobile Print’ through ‘Print Utility’ serves staff and students for easy printing files from a mobile device or cloud storage like MS OneDrive for Business at SCC’s printers.
