As a good practice, all staff leavers, graduates and soon-to-be retirees are reminded to backup all your personal data on the University IT facilities that will not be available to you upon your departure, graduation or retirement. The data will be deleted after the expiry date and cannot be recovered.
Alumni
You can continue to keep your PolyU Connect Email account, your OneDrive for Business storage, and access the Wi-Fi service on campus while your entitlements to other services and facilities are revoked. For more information, you may refer to the Alumni website (https://www.polyu.edu.hk/alumni/) for privileges entitled to you.
Staff leavers
In case you still need access to IT service(s) for carrying out PolyU-related activities after your departure, please seek for endorsement from both HoD and overseeing SME for required service extension.
Retirees
You may apply for email account on domain @connect.polyu.hk due to transition of business matters related to the University, approval from Faculty/ School Dean via your HoD for academic staff and approval from EVP via HoD for non-academic staff is required. Retirees who have been granted Connect account will also be able to access PolyU Connect O365 applications on cloud and use Wi-Fi service while on campus.
