Training class for mass mailing / SMS tool: MLM

Mass Mailing and SMS Service are the major communication channels used by the University to communicate with staff, students, alumni or external recipients.

Mailing List Management (MLM) system is the tool for sending mass emails and SMS to a large number of recipients. It allows management and department heads to send notices and communication messages to high volume of recipients and able to track delivery status.

In addition to supporting authorized users of departments in sending mass messages, MLM also provides a convenient platform for the maintenance of various mailing lists, including the opt-out lists as required by the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Ordinance (UEMO).

To refresh MLM approvers and creators’ hands-on experience in using MLM system, a training session has been planned in November to reinforce their fundamental concepts and share useful tips.
