We have transit from rule-based Virtual Assistant with keyword search to leveraging Tongyi Qianwen large language model with Retriever Augmented Generation (RAG) for completion responses, leveraging published content on ITS website and shared document. This upgrade aims to enable Virtual Assistant to carry contextual understanding for staff and student enquiries about IT support and services, thus able to improve the quality of response to their respective ask.
