IBM SPSS is a software tool offering a user-friendly interface coupled with a comprehensive suite of features for statistical analysis. SPSS software enables users to swiftly extract actionable insights from data, covering the entire data analytics lifecycle, from data preparation and statistic modelling to analysis and reporting.
To facilitate the annual license renewal for SPSS within departments, notifications will be sent to departments that have utilized SPSS licenses during the 2023/24 financial year. These notifications will remind them to renew their license subscriptions for the 2024/25 period (i.e. July 2024 – June 2025).
Departments that have previously entered the 5-year SPSS Licensing Programme (2020/21 – 2024/25) will be asked to confirm the number of licenses they intend to renew and indicate any additional licenses required for 2024/25. The details of SPSS product descriptions and license fees are listed in the SPSS License Requisition Form. Upon confirmation, a new set of SPSS license codes will be generated for the upcoming year.
Interested departments, please complete and return the SPSS License Requisition Form on or before 15 March 2024. An invoice will be issued by ITS later for endorsement by the Head of Department.
