Changes on PolyU Connect Cloud service for graduating students

If you are transitioning to an alumnus of PolyU, alumni email service via Microsoft 365 Cloud and free wireless LAN service (within the PolyU campus and at specific local and overseas institutions) are provisioned. Your existing Connect email, NetID, NetPassword will remain valid, and you can continue to use them for accessing your alumni mailbox. You can view and manage your NetID profile at the PUsecure Identity Portal.

 

 

Please take note to the following changes upon your transitioning to an alumnus of PolyU:

 

a) A 50GB email online archive folder will be provisioned to your alumni mailbox in addition to 1GB mailbox storage.

b) The auto-archive service will be activated to move message content older than 6 months in your mailbox to online archive folder.

c)  To manage your OneDrive storage usage and take appropriate actions, please visit here to determine how much space you need to free up.

d) Starting from 31 January 2025, the OneDrive service that PolyU provided will cease entirely. To safeguard your data and prevent any permanent loss, please ensure that you download your files from OneDrive and properly store them in a separate location during this transition period.

To access your archive messages, you can use free Outlook client for Windows / MacOS, Outlook on the web (OWA) on your computer, or through OWA on the mobile Microsoft Edge browser by selecting "View Desktop Site". For detailed instructions, please refer to the online archive user guide.
