Here’s what you need to know:

  • Standard Installation:
    All devices will arrive with the University’s standard software and configurations ready to use.

  • Active Directory (AD) Connection:
    Devices will be connected to the University’s Enterprise AD before they reach your office.

  • Cloud Enrolment:
    For full-time staff devices that do not join the Enterprise AD, they will be set up with Azure AD and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).

    To ensure a smooth process, vendors will coordinate with departments about the number of devices for Enterprise AD and Azure AD.

  • For Computer Laboratory Equipment:
    If you are planning to get machines for computer labs, Computer Liaison Officers (CLOs) please reach out to Billy Chan or Bruce Lee of ITS for extra help and arrangements.
