- It combines diamond turning and micro-milling processing capabilities
- It possesses a standard 60,000 min-1 spindle, reducing the processing time
- It enhances tool life by achieving high rotational accuracy of the spindle
- There is no restriction on time for running the spindle at high speed, and machining can be performed with only small-diameter tools. It is able to reduce tool costs, types of tools used and man-hours for CAM operation
- Realization of high-valued added machining, resulting in improvement of machining accuracy and surface quality.
- Diamond turning capacity: Spherical surfaces, aspheric surfaces, freeform surfaces, fresnel lenses, diffractive lenses, multi-faceted surfaces, etc. (Form accuracy - 800 nm RMS, surface roughness - 20 nm RMS)
- Micro milling capacity: Milling, drilling and boring multi-faceted surfaces and micro-holes, etc.
