Dr. Bing Pan is a Professor in the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Management at the College of Health and Human Development, Penn State University. He received his Ph.D. in Tourism Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, followed by postdoctoral research in the Information Science Program at Cornell University. Dr. Pan is currently the co-editor of Tourism Analysis, an associate editor of Annals of Tourism Research, and an editorial member of Tourism Management and the Journal of Travel Research. Dr. Pan has received over $2 million USD in research funding from federal, state, and local organizations.
