FB Outstanding HKDSE Students Entry Scholarship

An annual one-off entry scholarship for outstanding HKDSE students admitted to any FB undergraduate departmental scheme via JUPAS from 2022/23 academic year onwards

1. Eligibility
   
   JUPAS applicants who have taken up the initial offer from FB Departments and paid the initial fee (“admittees”) of any FB undergraduate programme schemes via JUPAS will be considered.
   
   
2. Requirements and Scholarship Amount
   
   
   • The Scholarship will be offered to an admittee who fufils any one of the following requirements:
     

     Requirement	Scholarship Amount (HKD)
     Level 5** in any subject recorded in the admission application in a given year	$30,000 per subject
     Level 5* in any subject recorded in the admission application in a given year	$15,000 per subject

   • The maximum Scholarship amount to be offered is $150,000 per admittee. Awardees with financial needs can apply for additional support, which is 20% of the awarded Scholarship amount.
   • The provision of this Scholarship is subject to:
     • the prevailing University’s guidelines on financial assistance and scholarships offered to students;
     • funding availability; and
     • annual review of the Scholarship arrangements.
       
       
3. Application
   
   
   • No application for the Scholarship is required.
   • FB will identify the eligible candidates and notify them after the commencement of the academic year.

FB reserves the right to change the terms or withdraw the above scholarship. In case of any dispute/disagreement, FB has the final decision.
