Born and raised in Hong Kong, Biel Crystal (HK) Manufactory Limited's Founder and President Dr Yeung Kin-man is a locally-groomed industrialist as well as self-made entrepreneur. After its inception in 1989, his company has set up factory in Shenzhen to produce watch cover glass using high technology. Boasting a client list of top luxury watch brands around the world, the company has made its mark in the industrial arena worldwide.

From 2004 onwards, Biel Crystal has been making inroads into mass production of smartphone glass screens and is now the world's largest maker of its kind. An industrial park in Huizhou has been established in between to cope with demands for high output. With an extensive sphere of business reaching global dimensions, the company now has over 80,000 staff in its employ. While Hong Kong as a whole managed to keep up with global developments back in the last century, its manufacturing industry, widely perceived to be in its sunset years, has been in decline. With his laser-sharp vision, innovative drive and business savvy, however, Dr Yeung, the "King of Touchscreens", has succeeded in putting Hong Kong manufacturers on the global map again.

As a professional engineer with entrepreneurial zeal, tech insight, and business acumen, Dr Yeung has deservedly garnered a string of coveted awards including Leader of the Year Award (Commerce & Industry/Finance Category) from Sing Tao News Corporation in 2015 and Industrialist of the Year Award from Federation of Hong Kong Industries in 2016. Apart from striving for the advancement of technological innovation, Dr Yeung has also been putting his best foot forward to give back to society as an ardent supporter of worthy causes, especially higher education.
