Bequest

A bequest to PolyU is written into the will and distributed through estate. A bequest can be designated for a specific purpose and can be a specific dollar amount, a specific asset, or a percentage or remainder of your estate.

How It Works

Making a bequest in your Will, for example, to determine a specific monetary amount for PolyU in your Will, is not complicated, you may consult your lawyers for advice on how to draw up your Will.

  • Plan ahead and make your intentions known to your family.
  • You can designate your gift to whatever area of PolyU that you are most passionate to support.
  • Leave a lasting legacy to be remembered.

Name PolyU as the Beneficiary

  • Please use the legal name “The Hong Kong Polytechnic University” in your bequest clause.
