On 19 March 2025, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) Foundation hosted an appreciation luncheon to thank its members for their generous contributions to the University. The event welcomed new and upgraded members in the categories of Honorary Life Chairman, Honorary Life President, and Honorary Life Vice President.
Prof. Alex Wong, the Deputy Chairman of the PolyU Foundation, warmly welcomed the guests, emphasising that their steadfast support has been instrumental in driving PolyU's remarkable progress in research and education.
Prof. Jin-Guang Teng, the President of PolyU further expressed his gratitude to the members. He gave a presentation highlighting the latest developments of PolyU, including its ranking among the world’s top 100 institutions and its impressive performance in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025, where 26 disciplines are listed in the global top 100.
In recognition of members’ contributions, Prof. Teng and Prof. Wong presented them with Certificates of Appreciation and commemorative souvenirs. After the luncheon, the Foundation arranged a guided tour to the University Gallery for their guests.
