Service-Learning offers an invaluable opportunity for students to make contributions to society while fostering their personal growth. Through engaging in Service-Learning activities, students can broaden their perspectives and cultivate good qualities such as empathy for people in need, self-confidence, communication skills and cross-cultural awareness.

According to a recent survey, more than 86% of our students agreed that Service-Learning has helped them to become more socially responsible citizens. By the 2027/28 academic year, PolyU aspires to send half of its students to take part in Service-Learning projects outside Hong Kong.

We invite corporations to join hands with PolyU in the Multi-Year Corporate Partnership, and mobilise your employees and volunteer teams to collaborate with our students in Service-Learning projects. The joint initiatives between PolyU and our partners will not only benefit the underprivileged but will also provide a life-changing experience for those involved.

We also invite our corporate partners to contribute to the PolyU Service-Learning Fund to facilitate more students to take part in Service-Learning. Donors can contribute through a one-time payment or a monthly donation scheme. By working together, we can maximise the impact of our community service efforts and nurture future leaders and global citizens for our society.
