The Material Resource Centre in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design and OOOBJECT jointly presented the exhibition ‘ECO-MATERIAL @ MRC X OOOBJECT’ during 13 to 24 March 2017. The exhibition aims to involve designers, companies, and producers in raising awareness and to consider using environmentally friendly materials to create new inspiring products.
The exhibition covered four areas: ECO@INNOVATION, ECO@DESIGN, ECO@WORLDWIDE and ECO@LIVING, showcasing a vast variety of eco-friendly materials, applications, and related technologies. In ECO@INNOVATION gallery, 19 experimental eco-materials were exhibited including fish bone, cocoa shell, and mulches. Local media also covered this story and can be further read from on.cc
