Opinions on reducing the use of single-use items on campus

PolyU is committed to fostering sustainable development and strengthening a green culture that embraces environmental sustainability among our students and staff. In order to solicit views on the possible strategies in reducing the use of single-use plastic items and disposables on campus, the University held four engagement meetings to exchange with staff members, students, and hall residents. Participants at these engagement meetings expressed their diverse views. They had some fruitful and positive discussion among themselves on the different possible approaches to tackle disposables on campus.
