Students’ creativity in bag design

The Material Resource Centre (MRC) of PolyU held the Play and Display Bag Design and material exhibition from 15 April to 2 May 2019, focusing on a new sustainable material Tyvek® and highlighting students’ creative bag design ideas. It brought together PolyU design students to play with Tyvek® tote bags using different materials and printing effects. Tyvek® is an innovative material that acts as a superior combination of paper and fabric. It is flexible and malleable but also manifests the ability to withstand moisture, chemicals, and extreme wear and tear. With this material, our students tested their imagination and turned possibilities into realities by producing their unique bags.
