Showcase of PolyU students designed and fabricated solar cars
- The Faculty of Engineering, PolyU
Will there ever be a day when we will use a solar-powered car as our main form of transportation in Hong Kong? This may be really difficult to tell. Nevertheless, we should not be discouraged by the unknown answer but to continue with our efforts exploring into this possibility. A group of PolyU students from the Faculty of Engineering have recently designed and built their own solar-powered cars and participated in the ‘New Energy New Generation’ Solar Car Competition organized by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, HKSAR Government. They will run a showcase at carnival so let’s join them and give them a big applause!
