Summary

U.S. News & World Report named the Mediterranean Diet the Best Overall Diet for the fourth year in a row. The Mediterranean-style eating pattern has been shown to promote health and decrease risk of many chronic diseases. Eating the Mediterranean way is not only healthy, but it is also "nutrilicious" - nutritious & delicious. Foods that you might once think of as too high in fat or unhealthy, including nuts, olive oil, olives, and whole grains, become an everyday part of a Mediterranean diet.
