VeggieLicious 2021: Very Ginger Turmeric Face Mask Workshop 好夠薑薑黃面膜工作坊

Knowing the health benefits of ginger and turmeric, Teresa and Thisbe, co-founders of Very Ginger are dedicated to making locally grown ginger and turmeric products, not only for their interest but also for supporting Hong Kong agriculture. In this workshop, participants will know more about the natural benefits of turmeric and make their own turmeric face masks. They will also have a better understanding of Very Ginger’s place of origin, eco-friendly farming and how we can contribute to sustainable development.

Outline:

• To make turmeric face masks (Participants can take their DIY face mask home.)
• To learn about the growing and consuming season of local ginger
• To learn about the benefits of turmeric for skincare

夠薑女深明肉薑和薑黃對健康的好處，專注以本地出產的肉薑和薑黃硏發養生薑品。製造自己都喜歡的薑品之餘，也實現支持香港農業的想法。是次工作坊，參加者將認識薑黃的天然好處，製作薑黃面膜；同時認識好夠薑的產地、環境友善耕種及我們與可持續發展的關係。

內容：

• 製作薑黃面膜（每位參加者可把即場製作的薑黃面膜帶回家）
• 認識本地薑種植及時令
• 認識薑黃及食材在護膚上的功效

• Time: 12.30 - 1.10 pm / 1.20 - 2pm
• Language: English supplemented with Cantonese terms
• Quota: 20 per each session (Quotas of workshops are limited and allocation will be made by drawing lots.)

• No eating or drinking is allowed.
