Call for Entries: IN-NO Plastics Challenge

Summary

The IN-NO Plastics Challenge (the Challenge), jointly organised by the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) and Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) is now OPEN for application.

The Challenge invites tertiary students to unleash their creativity to address environmental challenge “Reducing the Use of Disposable Plastics” with innovation and make a positive impact on the environment, simply by submitting a 2-page Executive Summary that outlines their ideas.

Full-time / Part-time students (both undergraduate and post-graduate) in Hong Kong are invited to join as a team of three to five. 

 

Important Dates

  • 4 August 2021: Online Briefing Session (Optional) – providing an overview of the Challenge and explaining the assessment criteria
  • 25 August 2021: Application Deadline
  • 25 September 2021: 1-day Innovation Bootcamp for Finalist Teams
  • 16 October 2021: Online Final Adjudication

 

Awards

  • Cash prize:
    • Champion - HK$30,000
    • 1st Runner-up - HK$20,000
    • 2nd Runner-up - HK$10,000
  • E-Certificate and eco gift set for all Finalist Teams to recognise their active involvement

  • Time: 8.00 pm – 9.00 pm
  • Format: ZOOM Meeting (Meeting link will be sent upon registration)
