Campus sustainable week - Mask Recycling

Students and staff can contribute disposable face mask to people in need at our Campus Sustainability Counter. Student Halls of Residence will also be organising mask recycling on 21 March from 8:00-10:00pm.

Mask Collection: Prefer ASTM Level 3 'adult' or 'kid' masks in sealed individual packing or unopened box are acceptable.

Beneficiary: All masks collected will be contributed to the Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) and volunteering group to the needy.

GreenCoin Rewards: 5 GreenCoins will be rewarded to each staff and student contributing at least 50 pc face mask  

Terms & Conditions:

• For current PolyU students and staff only
• A valid GreenCoin account is required
• All masks must be hygienic and in good quality and will be inspected by our staff and helpers upon the Campus Sustainability Counter
• The collection of mask will be affected by the actual need and situation of the organisation 
• Each GreenCoin user can only claim a maximum of 5 nos. of GreenCoins by participating in this event. All GreenCoins will be awarded to users upon the Campus Sustainability Counter at the time of contribution.  
• We reserve the right of final decision in case of any disputes
