Campus Sustainability Weeks 2024 - Bonus Coins

Learn and practice waste reduction during Campus Sustainability Weeks to earn Bonus Coins with the PolyU GreenCoin app. You can receive 5 Bonus Coins for each of our selected activities and can earn up a maximum of 25 Bonus Coins for this special event!

Date: 25 March - 21 April 2024

Selected activities: 

• Attend the sharing session of the Campus Sustainability Weeks to learn waste reduction knowledge.

• Read the Green Tips (Mar-2024) and submit the correct answer to learn waste reduction tips.

• Borrow and return reusable lunchboxes at the lunchbox rental and lending machine on campus to reduce disposables.

• Bring reusable food/drink containers for takeaways at designated catering outlets to reduce disposables.

• Recycle drink containers at the reverse vending machines on campus to practice clean recycling.

Remarks: 

• Bonus Coins will be credited to the user's GreenCoin account within 5 working days after the event concludes. 
• Designated catering outlets include H Café, LibCafe, and VA Student Canteen. 

Terms and Conditions: 

• The campaign period is from 25 March to 21 April 2024 (both dates inclusive). 

• This campaign is applicable to current PolyU students and staff using the PolyU GreenCoin app. 

• We will determine the user's entitlement to the Bonus Coins offer based on the validity of user's account records with the GreenCoin platform server. 

• Coin records with the GreenCoin platform server are considered final. 

• The scope and details of this campaign are subject to change without prior notice.
