Global Youth Leadership and Service-Learning Institute aspires to become a hub for the development of global youth leadership and service-learning programmes, activities and research, and to create significant impact on policies and practices related to youth development in Hong Kong and the international arena.

Mission

• Nurturing global youth leaders
  To nurture leaders with critical thinking and global vision who are capable of and committed to making contribution to the positive development of the local, national and international community.

• Developing excellence in global youth leadership and service-learning education
  To contribute to the development of excellence in global leadership and service-learning education through the launch and implementation of a range of pioneering and experimental/innovative global youth leadership curricula, including formal and informal programmes, that nurture youth leaders capable of and committed to contributing to the positive development of local, national and international communities.

• Fostering research on global youth leadership and service-learning education
  To undertake research on and evaluation of global youth leadership and service-learning programmes during learning and teaching, with the aim of generating educational methods, models and practices that foster global youth leadership and service-learning development.
