Students can remote access computers in IC via UDS
Online computer courses usually request students to install computer software in their local computer. Some software are very demanding in terms of hardware capability and students would find it inconvenient to use the software.
With the support of PolyU ITS, IC has introduced the remote access of computers in IC computer room via Universal Desktop Services (UDS).
UDS is the software platform which allows students to remote access the computers in IC. With UDS students can use software available in IC such as Powerlogic, Solidworks, regardless of the student’s own PC capability. All you need is a stable internet connection.
