The IGDS was launched in The University of Warwick
1990
In cooperation with The University of Warwick, the IGDS MSc in Engineering Business Management and MSc in Manufacturing Systems Engineering were launched in the former Hong Kong Polytechnic
1993
First IGDS Congregation, and the EngD was launched in the Hong Kong Polytechnic
1997
The first EngD graduate, the Late Ir Dr T L Ng, SBS, JP graduated outside the UK
1999
The IGDS MSc Joint Award by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and The University of Warwick was approved
2006
Kolinker Scholarship for live-in overseas study
2010
CEC-COILS Scholarship for the best IGDS graduate
2013
Li Lian Scholarship for outstanding graduates
2014
Hinrich Foundation – VF Corporation Global Trade Leader Scholarships
2015
Joint Award MSc in Supply Chain and Logistics Management was approved
