Software Licensing Programmes - Statistical Software Package

To provide more convenient services to departments, ITS has centrally coordinated the acquisition and distribution for statistical software to departments.

1. MATLAB Software
   With collaboration from academic departments that currently subscribe to MATLAB software individually, we have arranged a new Campus-Wide License coverage for the 2024/25 to 2026/27 academic year, providing access to MATLAB, Simulink, and a wide range of toolboxes for all staff, students and researchers.
   
   
2. SAS Software
   Departments can purchase SAS licenses at discounted prices. SAS licenses are to be renewed at the end of each year and users with valid license are entitled to free upgrade.
   
   
3. SPSS Software
   All SPSS licenses will expire on 30 June each year and are subject to renewal at the anniversary date. Users with valid licence are entitled to free upgrade.
