As communicated in the ITS Notice dated 12 April, a new Global Protect VPN service will replace the existing Pulse Secure VPN for remote access to PolyU internal applications and data.
The Pulse Secure VPN service will be phased out after 28 May 2021. Staff users who are still using Pulse Secure VPN are highly recommended to switch to the new Global Protect VPN as soon as possible for accessing remote connection to campus network.
Since the Multifactor Authentication (MFA) has been applied when using the new Global Protect VPN service, staff users who are the first time using the new VPN, please read the user operation guide and follow the procedures to download and install the authenticator mobile app and new VPN client software (Global Protect VPN client software).
