IT security risks mitigating webinar

A webinar on mitigating Phishing/ Ransomware attack risks was held on 28 Apr 2023 (Friday). We are so glad that around 70 participants including Departmental Computer Liaison Officers and Cyber Security Working Group members from various departments/ offices attended the webinar.

During the workshop, we shared with participants the latest attacks and threats, updates on Microsoft Defender for O365 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint project, as well as how to protect yourself from Ransomware. The workshop was held successfully with valuable feedback received.

To build awareness on IT security, staff and students are encouraged to access LEARN@PolyU for online training courses. A lot of practical tips are highlighted on topics like data protection, ransomware, cloud service, identity protection, etc.
