After careful consideration, and in light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation in Hong Kong, we must sadly confirm that the 11th International Forum on Shipping, Ports, and Airports (IFSPA) 2022 will be held in fully online mode with the following important dates:

Abstracts (Presentation & Full Paper) : 28 February 2022
Abstracts (Presentation Only) : 28 February 2022
Notification of Acceptance / Rejection : 15 March 2022 
Submission of Final Paper : 15 April 2022 
Author Registration Deadline : 20 April 2022
Conference : 16 to 20 May 2022

Hong Kong is now suffering from its fifth wave of coronavirus, the number of infections has been increased sharply, with over 55000 tested positives reported daily. The government has imposed different policies to fight the pandemic, including social-distancing measures, the Compulsory Universal Testing scheme, and possible arrangements for the “lockdown”. It is believed that the situation will remain pessimistic in May. Although we have striven to maintain the possibility of holding a hybrid mode conference to sustain our long mission of social nearing, the health and safety of everyone is our highest priority. Our committees have made the difficult decision to change the IFSPA 2022 to a fully online conference. 

The conference fee is reduced to compensate for having online mode only. Please refer to our website at https://www.polyu.edu.hk/lms/icms/ifspa2022/registration/ for details. We are now accepting registration at https://www6.polyu.edu.hk/lms/ifspa/.
