Biography

Dr. Yue Yu is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received dual Ph.D. degrees from both Wuhan University and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2021 and 2022, supervised by Prof. John SHI and Prof. Ruizhi CHEN. He has published more than 30 SCI papers, two of which are selected as ESI highly cited papers; He is also serving as the reviewer of more than 20 SCI journals including “IEEE TII”, “IEEE TMC”, “IEEE TWC”,“IEEE IotJ”, “JAG” and has applied for more than 15 patents and software copyrights. He won the Champions of IPIN International Indoor Positioning Competition twice in 2018 and 2020 and won the nomination for the excellent Ph.D. graduation thesis at Wuhan University in 2021.
