Before you start to select a subject, it is important to understand the format of GUR subject code. An example is illustrated below:

You should pay extra attention to the subject level. Some subjects at Level 2 may require students to complete a prerequisite or foundation subject first.

GUR types A to HN represent cluster area(s) of CAR. Q, L and S represent other types of GUR subjects.

 B  COG cluster
 C  HCW cluster
 D  STE cluster
 M  CHC cluster
 N  COSG cluster
 E  (A+B)  HRD and COG clusters
 F  (A+C)  HRD and HCW clusters
 G (A+D)  HRD and STE clusters
 H (B+C)  COG and HCW clusters
 J  (B+D)  COG and STE clusters
 K (C+D)  HCW and STE clusters
 AN (A+N)  HRD and COSG clusters
 BN (B+N)  COG and COSG clusters
 CM (C+M)  HCW and CHC clusters
 CN (C+N)  HCW and COSG clusters
 EN  (A+B+N) HRD, COG and COSG clusters
