Capstone Project/ Final Year Project

You would engage in the Capstone Project/ Final Year Project (FYP) in your final year of study. It is an independent research project requiring a substantial amount of effort and time. You should discuss and seek help from your supervisor, your teachers, and also your classmates for assistance throughout the experience.

Preparation for your future

If you would like to pursue further studies, plan early and learn about the admission criteria and programme requirements so that you would prepare the necessary qualifications and documents in time. To learn more about postgraduate studies in PolyU: Taught Postgraduate Programmes / Research Postgraduate Programmes.

If you would like to seek advice on career development, you can make use of the service by SAO’s Careers and Placement Section (CPS) including meeting with Career Advisors, job search skills training and interview preparation.

Application for graduation

You must apply for graduation in the semester that you would fulfil all the graduate requirements. An email from Academic Registry will be sent to you about the application period and other details on the “Application for Graduation” exercise.
