Prof. George LIU appointed as Chief Scientist of CMA Meteorological Observation Center

Prof. George LIU Zhizhao, Member of the Research Institute for Land and Space (RILS) and the Otto Poon Charitable Foundation Research Institute for Smart Energy (RISE), and Associate Head (Partnership) of the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics, has been appointed as the Chief Scientist of the Meteorological Observation Center, China Meteorological Administration (CMA). The CMA Meteorological Observation Center (MOC) is a state-level basic meteorological institution focusing on meteorological services and researches.
