DoRISA’s Liverscan project wins championship in 5th Hong Kong Innovation Day

To nourish a culture of innovation in healthcare, the School of Nursing of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University organised the 5^th Hong Kong Innovation Day (HKIA) on 18 April 2023. The project “Liverscan: Palm-sized Real-time B-mode Ultrasound Imaging Guided System for Liver Fibrosis and Steatosis Assessment” led by Prof. ZHENG Yongping, Director of the Research Institute for Smart Ageing, won the championship and will represent Hong Kong in competing for the Innovation Award of Excellence at the Global Healthcare Innovation Day in Brighton, United Kingdom, in 2023.
