Interim Director of MHRC shares views on mental health on various media platforms

Prof. Hector TSANG—Interim Director of the Mental Health Research Centre (MHRC), and Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences—recently shared tips for mental health and his views on Hong Kong mental health services in local radio programmes and newspapers*. He explained the importance of emotional self-care, help-seeking and early identification of mental health issues. He also highlighted the need for enhanced community support resources such as district health centres and family doctors, to facilitate the integration of persons with mental health needs into the local community.
