Prof. WONG Man Sing Knowledge Transfer to Government of Singapore The Government of Singapore starts to explore the use of tilt sensors for tree monitoring, and they had invited Charles Wong to share the research to their Botanic Garden office.
Prof. WONG Man Sing Technology transferred to the Tree Management Office of the Development Bureau. The system developed by Prod. Wong’ s team, involves a Smart Sensing Technology and a GIS-based platform to monitor changes in the surrounding environment and to collect relevant tree data. DEVB have started to use the technology for early tree cavity detection.
Prof. WONG Man Sing Showcase of Smart Tree Monitoring at theInnoCarnival 2021 The pavilion showcases 6 award-winning projects of Geneva Inventions Expo, which cover a wide range of applications, including healthcare, environmental monitoring, smart cities, and automotive safety. Visitor scan even experience the interactive game-based learning platform, which was developed by PolyU and received different international educational awards.
