Biography
Junhong Pu received his B.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Sichuan University under the supervision of Prof. Wei Yang. He worked as a Visiting Ph.D. student at The University of California, Los Angeles in Prof. Qibing Pei’s group. After postdoc training at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with Prof. Xiaoming Tao, he joined the Research Institute for Intelligent Wearable Systems as a research assistant professor. His research mainly focuses on polymer composites and functional fibrous materials, as well as exploring their applications including soft actuators, haptic devices, soft robotics, stretchable sensors, and wearable electronics. He has published over 20 papers in top-tier journals including Science, Science Advances, Joule, and others with more than 1000 citations.
