High-flyers awarded Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship and Scholarship
Students Carmen Yau Ka-man and Sin Ka-yin received the Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fellowship for Disabled Students and Sir Edward Youde Memorial Scholarship respectively for their excellent academic performance and contributions to the local community.
A year 1 doctoral student of the Department of Applied Social Sciences, Carmen has been suffering from spinal muscular atrophy and devotes herself to advocating rights of the disabled. Ka-yin, a Year 2 undergraduate student of the Interdisciplinary Division of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering, is dedicated to serving the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps and promoting aviation education programmes and leadership training courses.
