Making headway in building smart cities
Some 280 scientists, engineers and researchers from 18 countries and regions gathered at the 2nd International Conference on Urban Informatics organised by the Department of Land Surveying and Geo-Informatics. Themed “Towards Future Smart Cities”, the three-day Conference featured keynote speeches and discussions on the latest research and technologies in smart city development. The topics covered smart mobility, urban positioning, urban big data and cloud computing, pollution as well as urban problems and solutions.
