PolyU was pleased to host a tour for a group of journalists representing 15 media organisations from the Mainland, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam to visit the University’s state-of-the-art research facilities earlier this month.

The visit was organised by the Council of the Hong Kong Laureate Forum, a world-class scientific exchange and networking platform.

The journalists were introduced to the PolyU Research Centre for Deep Space Exploration by Director Prof. Yung Kai-Leung and to the National Rail Transit Electrification and Automation Engineering Technology Research Centre (Hong Kong Branch) by Director Prof. Yi-Qing Ni. The tours gave the journalists a chance to learn more about PolyU's contribution to China's lunar and Mars exploration projects as well as its role in driving innovations in railway technology.
