The University ranked in the global top 20 for five subjects and secured the No. 1 spot in Hong Kong for four subjects. Additionally, PolyU was among the world’s top 100 universities for 21 subjects.

Beyond the global top 20, an impressive 21 subjects were ranked among the global top 100. Many of them are related to engineering and technology, including Civil & Structural Engineering; Computer Science & Information Systems; Data Science & Artificial Intelligence; Electrical & Electronic Engineering; Engineering & Technology (Broad Subject Area); and Mechanical, Aeronautical & Manufacturing Engineering. QS named PolyU as the university that has made the most progress among all local institutions, with 20 disciplines rising in the rankings and the number of subjects in the top 50 doubling.
