Delegation Visit to Weifang

RCMI representatives participated in the delegation visit to Weifang organized by the Research and Innovation Office (RIO) of the
University, led by Prof. Dong Cheng, Associate Vice President (Mainland Research Advancement) of PolyU, from July 7th to 9th, 2024.

The purpose of the visit was to explore the potential establishment of a mainland translational Research Institute on ancient seawater research (濰坊古海水創新研究院) and to facilitate joint research in functional food by leveraging the research expertise of both entities.
Situated in central Shandong province, Weifang, a prefecture-level city, the visit presents exciting opportunities for the Centre’s ambitious members to explore new synergies with mainland China counterparts and thus to enter, expand and thrive in a new market.
