On August 23, 2024, Prof. WONG Man-sau, Dr. Daniel MOK, Dr. Christina POON and Dr XIAO Huihui, toegther with Dr Angela KUNG, Managing Director of Increasepharm (HK) Limited, visited the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Cooperation between Guangdong and Macao (GMTCM Park) in Hengqin.
The GMTCM Park aims to support the moderate economic diversification of Macao, promote the industrialization and internationalization of TCM, and contribute to the growth and development of Macao enterprises and the cultivation of Macao talents.
The visit began with a meeting at the GMTCM Park’s scientific research headquarters, followed by tours to the GMP pilot production building, R&D testing building, and extraction building. Through discussion with various stakeholders, the Centre’s members have deepened the understanding on the drug registration and administration of improved new drugs in Macau.
