Indoor Positioning Youth Academic Seminar

The 1st Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Indoor Positioning Youth Academic Seminar was held on August 7, 2024, at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Aimed at fostering collaboration among young scholars from Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, the seminar responds to the growing demand for indoor positioning technologies. While global conferences like Mobicom and IPIN lead the field, this regional event offers a focused academic exchange platform for young Chinese scholars. The seminar invited top scholars, emerging researchers and industry experts to give speeches, covering a range of topics including AI-assisted positioning, mobile mapping, robotic perception, wearable and smartphone-based systems, and seamless indoor and outdoor navigation.
