Unmanned Underwater Vehicles
The UUVs at the center are dedicated to research in autonomous underwater navigation, equipped with cutting-edge sensors and control systems. These include sonar for precise mapping, advanced AHRS for orientation tracking, stereo cameras for 3D vision, and Doppler Velocity Logs (DVL) for accurate velocity measurement, enabling robust and reliable autonomous operation in challenging underwater environments.
VICON - indoor motion capture system
The VICON system at the center is a state-of-the-art motion capture platform designed for research in autonomous navigation and robotic control. It features a 6 x 5 x 3-meter tracking space equipped with 14 high-precision infrared cameras, delivering real-time 3D position and orientation data with exceptional accuracy. This system is instrumental in validating control algorithms, analyzing dynamic motion, and enabling precise trajectory tracking for both aerial and ground robots in controlled environments.
Autonomous driving test platform
The UGVs at the center are dedicated to research in autonomous ground navigation and intelligent driving systems. These platforms are equipped with advanced sensors and onboard computing units, including LiDAR for precise environment perception, stereo cameras for 3D vision, GPS/RTK for accurate localization, and inertial measurement units for motion tracking. The system enables reliable autonomous operation and serves as a comprehensive testbed for developing, validating, and benchmarking algorithms in perception, planning, and control across various real-world driving scenarios.
