Young Fellowship Scheme

Open for top PhD graduates to join PAIR as Research Assistant Professors

Appointed PAIR Young Fellows undertake research with leading scholars in areas that are distinctively new and different from their PhD research disciplines, and conduct interdisciplinary research at PAIR research unit(s).

Successful applicants are offered an attractive package and fringe benefits for Research Assistant Professors, as well as additional benefits including allowance, start-up grant, university residency and teaching opportunities.

PAIR research and development endeavours focus on three core areas: advanced technologies and manufacturing, good health and well-being, and smart and sustainable cities.

The Academy pursues interdisciplinary research, works closely with other PolyU units in the patenting, licensing and commercialisation of research outputs by PAIR research units, and collaborates with extensive parties including governments, industry and businesses in enabling the translation and adoption of PAIR-led innovations.
