Biography

Prof. DO Chi-wai is an Associate Professor at the School of Optometry, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He received his Doctor of Philosophy at PolyU. He then received postdoctoral training at the School of Medicine, The University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, Prof. Do rejoined the PolyU School of Optometry as an Assistant Professor and was later promoted as the Associate Professor.

Prof. Do has the research interests such as aqueous humor dynamics, glaucoma pathophysiology, community eye health, and Traditional Chinese Medicine. His works have been published at various journals including Frontiers in Immunology and International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health. Apart from research, Prof. Do is dedicated to promote community eye health through designing and teaching service-learning subjects for optometry students.
